How can a controlled shipping inspection help you?

In these situations it is necessary to contain the product before it is sent to the customer's facilities, ensuring that only conforming material is released for shipment.
While the supplier conducts root cause analysis and develops corrective actions, additional inspection controls are implemented to protect the supply chain.
CS1 Inspection
(Controlled Shipping Level 1)
The CS1 inspection consists of an additional inspection carried out by the supplier to verify the product before it is shipped to the customer.
At this level, 100% of the material is inspected, with the aim of restricting suspicious products and ensuring that only conforming parts are released.
The CS1 service allows you to maintain control over shipments while the supplier works to identify and correct the root cause of the quality problem.
CS2 Inspection
(Controlled Shipping Level 2)
The CS2 inspection is a stricter level of containment requested directly by the customer when the actions implemented by the supplier have not been sufficient to resolve the problem.
In this case, a 200% inspection of the product is carried out, usually within the supplier's own facilities and with the participation of an external quality inspection company.
The objective of Controlled Shipping Level 2 is to guarantee additional independent control that allows shipments to be protected and customer confidence to be restored.
